East London four-piece On Video (Hassan Anderson, George Williams, Neil Goody, Yuli Levtov) have released their third single ‘Adversary’ and we’re instantly hooked on their garage-rock indie-pop flux. Their latest joyfully raucous tune captures the life-affirming feeling of falling for a new love, as On Video put it “it’s like missing a step, / You feel a sudden rush of blood.” Much like the realities of relationships, the course never does run smooth and your partner can be a source of contention as much as one of joy. This is portrayed through the tongue-in-cheek music video, directed by CL James, in which a couple of wedding attire launch into boxing match, egged on by their nearest and dearest. All together, ‘Adversary’ is witty, sharp, playful and an absolute repeat-worthy listen. - Hannah Thacker
